Telangana Follow Up - Church Building

In December, Pastor Sundar was given an opportunity to build a church on a larger plot of land. There was a catch though, in order to receive the land, he needed to commit and start work immediately. The land was previously leased at no cost to another church, but they never built anything on it. So the owner took it back, and offered it to Pastor Sundar with the same terms, but building needed to start right then.

Our church back in Maryland, Catonsville Assembly of God, stepped up to provide the funds needed to build the church. Below are pictures of the progress as it happened over a few weeks in December and January. It was amazing to see this come together so fast. From the agreement to the actual construction of the building and then to the dedication of the church, I think all took about a month.

On 15 January, the church was dedicated to the Lord and opened. We are all very excited to see God’s enabling and the fruit that will come from this new house.

16 December - Work is about to begin!

23 December - Setting up the frame.

27 December - Roof is in place! Waiting for other materials to come.

02 January - Doorframe is set.

07 January - Floor is set, ready to put up the other walls.

10 January - Walls are in place, and the door is installed.

15 January - Church is being dedicated to the Lord!
