This is the second in a series of three posts about the March 2020 fasting and prayer weekend held at our church. During our fasting and prayer sessions, it is usual for the Holy Spirit to speak to us through Pastor Praveen. The first post in this series was a summary of key points from the March sessions. This post contains detailed notes from the two Friday sessions and will benefit readers who want to delve deeper into what the Holy Spirit spoke. I did not add to or comment on what was said. I will follow up with one more post containing my notes from the Saturday sessions.

Friday AM

• Peace and joy are coming behind covid-19. When persecution comes, God closes His eyes for a few seconds for repentance. This crisis will be turned to good. God will bring in many “fish.” Jesus Himself is casting the net. Many will come to salvation and be saved from hell. We need to pray the blood of Jesus over our families, over all parts of our lives/community/workplace, etc. Then there will be fire from the Lord – protection.

• Pastor Praveen told a story about a woman who had a boss who regularly harassed her. The boss kept coming into her office and being rude/yelling at her. One day, the woman prayed the blood of Jesus over her chair in her office. After that, the boss stopped coming into her office. She would come up to the door and stop – afraid to come in – and then pass by. Then the boss started greeting her when she saw her, “Good morning.” Before that, the woman would say “Good morning” to the boss and the boss would ignore her.

• There is a process for God’s purification of us, like purifying water for a fish tank. If you stop the pump that cleans the water in the fish tank, the fish will die. Likewise, if you lose the blood of Jesus over your life, you will die – spiritually then physically. We need the purifying process of the blood of Jesus every day, just like the fish tank pump has to run every day. He is watching over us with faithfulness and tender love. His cloud of grace is over the nations. We must pray.

• Iran, Russia, and China are suffering greatly from this virus because they want to destroy Israel and the United States.

• God will bring the coronavirus outbreak to an end in a miraculous way after bringing people to repentance. Then people will know that the Lord is God. But any nation that refuses to repent will not be delivered.

Friday PM

When the Israelites were at the bitter waters of Mirah and God turned the bitter waters to sweet:

He said, “If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.” (Exodus 15:26*; emphasis added)

When God gave the law to the Israelites through Moses, the Lord said:

Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you… (Exodus 23:25; emphasis added)

The one who created this world will take away sickness from among you; purify everything. This is God’s promise tonight. What do you have to do? Worship the Lord your God! He delivered us from the evil world and is keeping us under His wing (see Psalm 91:4).

In Exodus 12:7, the Israelites were given instructions about the Passover lamb. They were told, “… to take some of the blood and put it on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the houses where they eat the lambs.” Then, in Exodus 12:13 they were told, “The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt.”

God told the Israelites He would pass through Egypt and strike down every first born and judge their “gods.” The Israelites were told the blood would be their sign. The angel of death would pass over those houses.

No harm will overtake you; no disaster will come near your tent. (Psalm 91:10)

God asked Pastor Praveen to share this: The blood of Jesus in your tent/houses/life will be a sign for you. God is telling us, “When I see the blood, I will pass over you. The blood will protect you/your family/community. Because of the power in the blood.” That blood is in you. Speak to the enemy – Remember which blood is in you when you feel any sickness. Rebuke it – “you cannot touch my life.”

After the disaster, another wind is coming – revival. This coronavirus crisis is not a judgement – it is to save the people. Remember:

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword... (Hebrews 4:12)

So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55:11)

God will fulfill His word. It will not come back empty. Believe what God is speaking through Pastor Praveen.

Pastor Praveen reiterated Exodus 15:26 and Exodus 23:25, which he quoted at the beginning of the session. Pray this daily over your lives, households, etc.

When the angel of the Lord passes through “Egypt,” He will see the blood of Jesus and will pass over you and your household. No destructive plague will touch you. The blood of Jesus will protect you.
